Sitting at the office of the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), Eddie Mendez is waiting for his application for a chance to ply his trade in the S League. He is just 17 years old this year and need to have a work permit because although he was born in singapore, he was raised in Australia and have Australian citizenship. So as he waited in the waiting area his cell suddernly began to ring. It was his good friend Brian Lee. He is currently playing his football at the Clementi Stadium for Home United. Eddie wants to play for Woodlands Wellington so after waiting for about half an hour, The officer came in and told him that his applicstion has been successful and now can go looking for a club. Eddie was good as a teenager when he played for the Central Coast Mariners under 16s. Now he has the chance to prove himself in his true home country.

Part 2 of 5

Ok back with part 2 =)

Bolton Wanderers:

THis season looks good for the Wanderers as Gary Megson is looking to consolidate their status as a premier league team. Last season they finished 13th place which actually is not to bad. They did invest in a striker this season in South Korea's Lee Chung Yong but will most probably still need to largely depend on Johan Elmander to get most of their goals.

TFC Prediction: Bolton will most likely be in the mid table position for most of the season. Do not expect much of them.

Final League Position: 14th

Burnley:

Another promoted side. Burnley will be preparing to fight against relegation. They will most likely not reach the heights of Hull last season. Not much can be said about them.

TFC Prediction: Burnley will escape relegation by the skin of their teeth.

Final League Position: 16th

Chelsea:

With new coach Carlo Anchelotti, big things are expected at the bridge this season. I personally feel that Chelsea have the quality to mount a title challenge this season simply because out of the four big teams, only Chelsea did not sell any big names. And with the addtion of Russian Yuri Zhirkov, this team looks like the real deal.

TFC Prediction: Chelsea will enjoy this season under Carlo. Drogba and Anelka will provide the goals and Lampard will assist them in it.

Final League Position: 3rd

Everton:

This season will be a good season for Everton. David Moyes will be fretting over losing Joleon Lescott soon but no worries as there is backup in the form of Phil Jagielka. With Jo still on loan with the toffees, they may even break the top 4.

TFC Prediction: Simple words. Still not good enough for the top 4

Final League Position: 7th

Ok Stay tuned for part 3

A Guide to the New Barclay's Premier League Season

Hey i am Back. This big post is mainly for my bro Patrick. When writing my name will be the football critic TFC 4 short. So anyway here goes

Arsenal FC:
This season will prove to be a tough 1 for Arsene Wenger and his young guns as he has sold 2 of his best players in Emmanual Adebayor and Kolo Toure. With Ajax Centre Back Thomas Vermaelen as the only big name new at the Emirates.

My Prediction on how Arsenal will do and finish this season: This season Arsenal may struggle to get results against teams like Manchester City and the other big clubs.

Final League Position: 6th

Aston Villa FC:
After Finishing 6th place for the last 2 seasons, Martin O'Neil's men will be wanting to maybe crack into the top 4. With new signing Stewart Downing looking like a good replacement for Gareth Barry. And to sure up their defence, or msaybe a replacement for the retired Martin Laursen, They have brought in the ex Marseille guy Habib Beye.

So TFC prediction is: Aston Villa definitely have what it takes to crack into the top 4. With some resilient results against the big teams they should be able to reach their goal.

Final League Position: 5th

Birmingham City FC:
The newly promoted team is ready to make a mark in the premier league. With new signing Barry Ferguson from rangers and a loan spell for Manchester City Keeper Joe Hart. It certainly looks like manager Alex Mcleish is ready to stay in the premier league.

TFC prediction: I think that Birmingham will stay in the premier league and with a little luck they may get a mid table finish.

Final League Position: 13th

Blakburn Rovers FC:

Blackburn will hope to improve on last season's position of 15th place. So with that said manager Sam Allardyce went to get some players. He has loaned Franco Di Santo from Chelsea but he have also let Roque Santa Cruz go to Manchester City.

TFC Prediction: I feel that blackburn will still battle with relegation and with Santa Cruz gone alot of the scoring pressure will be on Benni McCarthy. Hopefully the South Afican can live up to his name and help out the cause

Final League Position: 17th
